What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how people use it. Some cookies are essential for a website to work, while others are optional and help us improve our marketing and user experience.

We do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other third-party analytics cookies on this quiz.
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to understand how visitors interact with the quiz and to measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms. The Pixel may record:
- Pages you visit on this site
- When you complete the contact form on the quiz
- General device and browser information

Information we share with Meta when you sign up
When you submit your details to unlock your Revision Profile, we send a “Lead” event to Meta both from your browser (Meta Pixel) and directly from our server (Meta Conversions API). This helps us measure which adverts work and reduces duplicate reporting. The information sent alongside that event is:
- Your email address (hashed before sending)
- Your mobile number (hashed before sending)
- Your first name and surname (hashed before sending)
- An internal reference ID derived from your email (hashed before sending)
- Your country (United Kingdom)
- Meta's browser ID (_fbp) and click ID (_fbc) if present
- Your IP address, browser user agent and the page URL
- The name of the Revision Profile you were matched with
Contact details are irreversibly hashed (scrambled using SHA-256) before they leave our systems, so Meta can only match them against existing accounts and cannot read them. We never send your quiz answers as free text to Meta, and we do not sell your data. If you choose “Essential only” on the cookie banner, the Meta Pixel is not loaded in your browser.
Managing your cookie choices
When you first visit the quiz, we show a cookie banner so you can choose whether to accept marketing/analytics cookies or only use essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site cookies and refreshing the page, or by contacting us at the email address below.
